Summary
This study tests a version of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) that has been adapted to fit local cultures in low- and middle-income countries. The goal is to help 220 adults with borderline personality disorder better manage their emotions and reduce self-harm or suicidal behavior. Researchers will also look at effects on depression, anxiety, and daily functioning.
