Summary
This study looked at whether training volunteer mentors in cultural humility and social justice helps them better support low-income youth of color. About 240 mentor-youth pairs were randomly assigned to receive the training or not. Researchers collected surveys and interviews from mentors, youth, parents, and case managers to see if the training changed attitudes and interactions.
