Virtual reality study reveals Culture's hidden influence on brain and movement

NCT ID NCT07242937

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at how growing up in different cultures might affect the way people learn and move in a virtual reality (VR) environment. Forty-three healthy university students, some who lived mainly in their home country and others who lived abroad for at least ten years, completed cognitive tests, motor skill tasks, and a VR game over four days. The goal was to observe natural differences in learning and performance between the two groups, not to test a treatment.
