First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether personalized cooking and food advice can help slow muscle loss and improve quality of life in people with advanced cancer who are on chemotherapy. About 200 adults will be split into two groups: one gets standard nutrition care plus exercise guidance, and the other gets the same plus tailored meal plans based on their taste and smell changes. The goal is to see if this practical, everyday approach helps patients maintain strength and well-being during treatment.
