First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study is creating a biobank of blood, spinal fluid, and tissue samples from 500 Chinese adults—including stroke patients, their families, and healthy volunteers. Researchers will use these samples to study the genetics of stroke and related blood vessel diseases, hoping to find new ways to prevent, treat, and recover from stroke. The study does not test any new drug or treatment; it focuses on collecting data for future research.
