New device helps Parkinson's patients beat freezing episodes

Summary

This study tests a wearable device called Cue2Walk that automatically detects freezing of gait in people with Parkinson's disease and provides rhythmic cues to help them keep walking. The study will compare the device's effectiveness and cost against usual care in 84 participants. The goal is to improve quality of life and reduce falls.
