Could a simple paste save more baby teeth in emergency dental visits?

NCT ID NCT07542639

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study compares a simplified paste (CTZ) to the standard treatment for infected baby teeth in emergency dental settings. About 110 children will receive either the CTZ paste or standard care, and researchers will check pain relief and infection control over 12 months. The goal is to see if the simpler, faster method works just as well, potentially making treatment more accessible in public health systems.
