New hope drug enters human testing for tough cancers

Summary
This is the first study in people testing a new drug called CTX-8371 for several advanced cancers that have stopped responding to standard treatments. Researchers will give increasing doses to a small group of patients to check if the drug is safe and what side effects it causes. The study will also look for early signs that the drug might help shrink tumors in cancers like lung cancer, breast cancer, melanoma, and lymphoma.
