Can a simple blood test predict prostate cancer return?

NCT ID NCT07222436

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a blood test can find tiny bits of tumor DNA in men with high-risk prostate cancer before they have surgery to remove the prostate. About 24 men will give blood samples, and researchers will check if the DNA test can help predict if the cancer might come back. The study does not provide treatment, but aims to improve future care.
