First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looked at 500 people with non-small cell lung cancer who had surgery. Researchers used a blood test to find and analyze circulating tumor cells (CTCs) before and after surgery. The goal was to see if CTC levels could help predict if the cancer would come back or spread. No new treatment was tested—this was purely to gather information.
