First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new treatment called CT1190B CAR-T cell therapy in 27 adults with severe lupus or sclerosis that hasn't responded to standard treatments. The therapy uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to target and calm the overactive immune system. The main goal is to check safety, but researchers will also look for signs of disease control, such as reduced lupus activity or improved sclerosis symptoms.
