Heart scan showdown: which test leads to better outcomes?
NCT ID NCT07308496
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two advanced heart scan methods is better at guiding treatment for people with blocked heart arteries. About 1,400 participants with a significant artery blockage will be randomly assigned to have their treatment decisions guided by either a special CT scan or a measurement taken during a standard angiogram. The main goal is to see which group has fewer serious heart problems, like heart attacks or unplanned procedures, over the following year.
