Muscle loss may predict biologic success in IBD patients

Summary

This study looks at how common muscle loss (sarcopenia) is in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) using CT scans. Researchers want to see if muscle loss affects how well biologic treatments work. About 50 adults with IBD who are on biologic therapy will be included.
