Muscle loss may predict biologic drug success in IBD patients

Summary

This study looks at how common muscle loss (sarcopenia) is in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) using CT scans. Researchers want to see if muscle loss changes how well biologic treatments work. About 50 adults with IBD who have received biologic therapy will take part.
