First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a CT scan to plan a heart artery procedure (called PCI) makes it faster, safer, and more effective than the usual method. About 200 adults with coronary artery disease will be randomly assigned to either CT-guided or standard planning. Researchers will compare procedure time, radiation exposure, and contrast dye use, and track outcomes for one year.
