First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether people at high risk for colorectal cancer prefer a CT scan (virtual colonoscopy) or a traditional colonoscopy to find advanced polyps. It involved 39 adults aged 18 to 80 with a personal or family history of colorectal cancer or advanced polyps. The main goal was to see how many people refused each type of exam, helping doctors understand which test is more acceptable for screening.
