Summary

This study tested a new once-weekly injection called CT-388 (also known as enicepatide) to help people with obesity or overweight who also have related health problems like high blood pressure or prediabetes. About 469 adults took part, receiving either a low, middle, or high dose of the drug or a placebo for 48 weeks. The main goal was to see how much weight they lost and how safe the treatment was.
