Summary
This study tests new drug combinations for cryptococcal meningitis, a brain infection that is always fatal without treatment and still kills many people with HIV. The trial aims to find safer, more effective therapies that are easier to access worldwide. About 2,000 adults with HIV and this infection will join to compare how well different treatments clear the infection and improve survival.
