First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether using cold therapy (cryotherapy) with compression works better than cold therapy alone for managing pain after knee, shoulder, or hip surgery. About 348 adults will use a cooling device and report their pain levels, medication use, and recovery progress. The goal is to find a more effective way to ease pain and improve recovery after orthopedic procedures.
