NCT ID NCT05600088

First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This early study tests a new way to prevent heart attacks by freezing dangerous plaque inside heart arteries. The treatment uses a special balloon to cool the plaque, aiming to make it less likely to burst. The study includes 30 people who recently had a heart attack or unstable angina and will follow them for one year to check safety and effectiveness.
