First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study is testing a freezing technique called cryoablation to treat small lung nodules that are early-stage lung cancer. It is for people who cannot have surgery due to age, health problems, or having multiple nodules. The goal is to see if this minimally invasive treatment can control the disease and prevent it from coming back, while being safer and less painful than surgery. The study will enroll 90 participants and follow them for up to 5 years.
