NCT ID NCT06300125

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a treatment called cryoablation, which uses extreme cold to freeze and destroy small, low-risk breast tumors. It aims to see if freezing the tumor works as well as surgery, while also improving quality of life, reducing pain, and avoiding general anesthesia. About 234 women with early-stage breast cancer will be enrolled, and they will still receive standard treatments like radiation or chemotherapy if needed.
