Freezing breast cancer: new option for those who can't go under the knife
NCT ID NCT05972343
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study follows 100 breast cancer patients who cannot have surgery to see if freezing the tumor (cryoablation) is safe and helps control the disease. Participants get an ultrasound-guided freeze treatment instead of an operation. The goal is to track complications and long-term cancer control, not to cure the disease.
