First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a new cross-shaped vaginal pessary in 51 women with pelvic organ prolapse who had already used a traditional pessary. The goal was to see if the new device was more effective at reducing symptoms and more comfortable to wear. Each woman compared her experience with the new device to her previous one. The study measured symptom distress and how many women continued using the new device after 6 months.
