Could Crohn's scans skip the uncomfortable drink?

NCT ID NCT07471438

Summary

This study aims to see if an MRI scan for Crohn's disease works just as well without requiring patients to drink a special liquid that distends their bowels, a process many find unpleasant. Researchers will compare two MRI scans—one with the standard drink and one without—in 60 adults with Crohn's disease to check if the results are similar. The goal is to make monitoring Crohn's disease easier and more comfortable for patients.
