Gut bacteria could hold key to better Crohn's treatment

NCT ID NCT06453720

Summary

This study aims to discover if patterns in a person's gut bacteria can predict how well Crohn's disease treatments will work. Researchers will collect stool, blood, and tissue samples from 100 adults with Crohn's disease in British Columbia, comparing them to people without the condition. The goal is to identify bacterial signatures that might help doctors choose more effective treatments for individual patients.
