New Crohn's disease drug enters final testing phase in china

Summary
This study is testing whether an intravenous medication called vedolizumab can safely reduce symptoms and intestinal inflammation in Chinese adults with moderate to severe Crohn's disease. About 408 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 14 weeks, then all will receive the drug for up to 58 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug improves abdominal pain and diarrhea and reduces visible inflammation in the gut.
