Crohn's treatment dilemma: switch drugs or increase dose?

NCT ID NCT06180382

Summary

This study aims to find the best next step for Crohn's disease patients whose current medication (adalimumab) stops working effectively, even though drug levels in their blood remain adequate. Researchers will compare two approaches: switching to a different type of medication (vedolizumab) versus increasing the dose of the current medication. The goal is to see which strategy helps more patients achieve remission, reduce symptoms, and heal intestinal inflammation over 24 weeks.
