First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at 59 adults with Crohn's disease who had surgery to remove damaged parts of their intestine. Researchers tracked changes in certain immune cells (T cells) in the blood and gut over one year to see if they could predict when the disease would come back. The goal is to find better ways to identify patients at high risk of relapse and discover new targets for treatment.
