Scientists probe Gut's immune system for Crohn's disease clues
NCT ID NCT06006039
Summary
This study aims to understand how specific immune cells that respond to a protein called IL-23 are involved in Crohn's disease returning after surgery. Researchers will analyze tissue samples from 40 adult patients with recurring Crohn's disease before and after they receive standard biological treatments. The goal is to gather knowledge about the disease process to help guide future therapy development.
