Doctors test new way to read bone scans in rare Kids' disease
NCT ID NCT07483853
Summary
This study aims to see if a new scoring system for whole-body MRI scans can reliably measure bone inflammation in children with Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis (CRMO), a rare inflammatory bone disease. Researchers will check if different radiologists get similar results using the system and whether changes in MRI scores match changes in children's symptoms and treatment responses. The study involves reviewing past medical records and MRI scans from up to 15 pediatric patients.
