Summary

This study tests a new eight-session group therapy program for adults hospitalized with substance use disorders. The program combines motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and behavioral activation to help participants manage cravings and develop alternative behaviors. About 20 participants will complete questionnaires and interviews before, during, and after the program to see if it is feasible and shows early signs of reducing craving and improving motivation. Because this is a small pilot study without a control group, its main goal is to gather information for a future larger trial.
