Gut bacteria may hold key to cranberry Juice's UTI-Fighting power

NCT ID NCT05065008

Summary

This study aims to understand why cranberry juice helps prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in some women but not others. Researchers are looking at how a person's gut bacteria might affect how their body processes the juice. They will compare urine samples and gut bacteria from 160 healthy women who drink cranberry juice for three weeks to see who responds and who doesn't.
