New drug cocktail targets tough blood cancers

Summary

This study tests a combination of two drugs, CPX-351 and ivosidenib, in about 30 adults with a specific genetic form of acute myeloid leukemia or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome. The goal is to see if the combo can shrink or control the cancer. Participants must have the IDH1 mutation and be able to receive strong chemotherapy.
