Could a gentler breathing device help kids with sleep apnea?
NCT ID NCT07600333
First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) is a comfortable and effective alternative to CPAP for children with moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea. About 258 children aged 2 to 18 will use one of the two devices at home for 3 months. Researchers will measure how often each device is used and how it affects sleep, symptoms, and quality of life.
