Can a sleep mask calm a racing heart?
NCT ID NCT04513483
Summary
This study tested if using a CPAP machine at night, which treats sleep apnea, could also help reduce episodes of an irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation. It involved 25 adults who had both conditions. Researchers measured changes in heart rhythm, heart structure, and quality of life to see if the sleep treatment provided a heart benefit.
