First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving gentle breathing support (CPAP) right after birth to late preterm babies (34-37 weeks) delivered by C-section can reduce the need for intensive care. About 120 newborns will be randomly assigned to receive early CPAP or standard care. The goal is to see if this simple step helps babies breathe better and avoid NICU admission.
