Sleep machine trial offers new hope for Hard-to-Control asthma
NCT ID NCT06314477
Summary
This study is testing if using a CPAP machine at night can help people who have both severe, uncontrolled asthma and sleep apnea. Researchers will compare asthma control over 12 months in adults who receive standard care versus those who also use a CPAP machine. The goal is to see if treating the sleep apnea helps people breathe easier and manage their asthma better during the day.
