Can peer pressure help you sleep better? study tests new CPAP motivation method
NCT ID NCT07124975
Summary
This study aims to see if showing sleep apnea patients how their CPAP machine usage compares to other patients helps them use the machine more consistently. About 186 adults already using CPAP therapy will be randomly assigned to receive either just their own usage data or that data plus a comparison with others. Researchers will track if seeing how they rank against peers leads to better machine adherence over six months.
