Summary
This study aimed to check if Moderna's updated COVID-19 booster vaccine affects levels of a protein in the blood that can indicate heart stress. Researchers enrolled 1,000 healthy participants aged 12 to 30 and measured this protein before and after vaccination, comparing results to a placebo group. The goal was to gather safety data specifically about potential heart effects in younger people receiving this vaccine.
