Summary
This study tested a new diagnostic tool called the VitaSIRO solo™ assay to see how well it detects COVID-19, influenza (flu), and RSV in people with symptoms. Researchers enrolled over 1,200 participants who showed signs of a respiratory infection and collected nasal swabs from them. The main goal was to compare the new test's accuracy against an existing, commonly used test.
