Scientists track vaccine protection in young vs. older adults

NCT ID NCT04852289

Summary

This study aims to understand how the immune system responds to COVID-19 vaccines in people of different ages. Researchers are observing 78 healthy adults who have received or plan to receive the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. They will track specific immune cells in the blood over five years to see if age affects how well the vaccine protects people.
