Spit test for COVID? study tests easier detection method
NCT ID NCT04578509
Summary
This study aimed to see if saliva tests could work as well as or better than the standard nasal swab test for finding COVID-19. Over 5,000 people who were getting a standard nasal swab test also provided a saliva sample. Researchers compared the results to see if the easier, more comfortable saliva test could be a good alternative for mass screening.
