Summary
This completed study used advanced CT and MRI scans to look for lasting damage in the lungs, heart, liver, and brain of 206 adults who had COVID-19. Researchers compared people who were hospitalized with those who were not, and also included healthy controls. The goal was to better understand long-term health problems after COVID-19, not to test a treatment.
