Researchers track COVID's Long-Term toll on asthma patients
NCT ID NCT05064501
Summary
This study aimed to understand how a COVID-19 infection affects people with asthma over time. Researchers planned to compare two groups of asthma patients—one group that had COVID-19 and one that did not—for one year. They would check lung function and asthma control to see if the virus made asthma worse or harder to manage. The goal was to use this information to improve advice and care for asthma patients who get COVID-19.
