New blood test could spot COVID-19 immunity early
NCT ID NCT04418206
Summary
This study tested a blood test (ELISpot) to detect the body's early immune response to COVID-19. It involved 950 people, including those with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, their close contacts, and healthy volunteers. The goal was to understand how the immune system responds over time and find markers that might predict who develops severe illness.
