Summary
This study tested a single vaccine, called mRNA-1083, designed to protect against both seasonal influenza and COVID-19. It involved 932 adults aged 50 to 65 to check the vaccine's safety and how well it triggers an immune response. The goal is to see if one injection can simplify protection against these two common respiratory viruses.
