First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested the safety and immune response of different COVID-19 booster vaccines in about 1,900 people aged 12 to 64 in Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Rwanda. It included both people with and without HIV. The goal was to see if mixing vaccine types (like using one brand for the first shot and another for the booster) works well and is safe, especially in areas with limited vaccine supply.
