Summary

This study looked at how people's social and economic backgrounds affect their recovery from severe COVID-19 lung damage. Researchers followed 543 patients who needed intensive care for COVID-related breathing problems, checking their lung function and quality of life six months later. The goal is to understand which patients need extra support during recovery to prevent long-term disability and improve their quality of life.
