Summary
This study tested whether a treatment called IMM-101 could help prevent severe respiratory infections, including COVID-19, in people with cancer. About 195 cancer patients at higher risk for severe COVID were randomly assigned to receive IMM-101 or just be observed. The goal was to see if IMM-101 could reduce serious flu-like illnesses and COVID infections that disrupt cancer treatment or require hospital care.
