Summary

This pilot study looked at whether a couple-based counseling program could improve quality of life and relationship satisfaction for male couples where one partner has HIV and the other does not. 88 couples in China took part, with some receiving three counseling sessions and others getting usual care. The goal was to see if the program was helpful, acceptable, and feasible.
